Nicky Neville–Jones

Senior Lawyer

I am Nicky, Senior Lawyer and Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Family Law Specialist.

I joined Emera Family Law in 2024 after working at another Melbourne family law firm for several years. I am experienced in all areas of family law, including:

  • parenting matters;
  • property and financial settlements;
  • divorce;
  • spousal maintenance; and
  • child support.

I also have experience working with vulnerable clients and assisting them with their family law and family violence matters as they navigate the sometimes overwhelming family law system.

I am the Co-founding Chair of the Family Violence Working Group and Chair of the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section at the Law Institute of Victoria.

I am also the Founding Chair of the Law Institute’s Animal Law and Welfare Committee and a volunteer lawyer at the Animal Law Institute.

I have a passion for advocating for family violence law reform, including advocating for better protections for affected family members and their pets.

In my spare time, I undertake creative and performing arts projects, which include being the Artistic Director for BottledSnail Productions, a production company for creatives in the legal profession.
